She was born on August 9,1941 in El Campo, Texas, daughter of Ben Orsak and Evelyn Tobola. Delores attended El Campo High School, where she was an excellent volleyball player. They lived in El Campo and raised their four children Rita, Linda, Becky & Greg there. Delores was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a devout Christian, and read her bible often. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and gardening. She was known to make homemade noodles for soup often on the weekends for the family to enjoy, and during the holidays would bring the best potato salad to the gatherings. She was a beloved sister to all her siblings, and stayed in close contact with each of them over the years. Delores never knew a stranger, and was a friend to all. She was one that would pick up a conversation anywhere she went. She made sure she had your name right too. Even in her later years at the home she resided in she knew all their names. She enjoyed crafts, and playing dominoes with all the friends she had made. She enjoyed writing letters to old friends that she kept in touch with. Over the years she made beautiful keepsake pillow cases, and items with embroidery stitching for her family & friends. Delores loved her children with all her heart. She would brighten up with that beautiful infectious smile every time they came to visit. Two weeks prior to her passing she was able to be with all four of her children. A day they will cherish, and count as a blessing in their lives to be all together with her.
