Santos John Garcia, Jr., 57, of El Campo, passed away on December 25, 2020. He was born on April 27, 1963 on El Campo. Santos was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved his family more than anything in this world and adored his grandchildren. His son, Matt, was his best friend and there wasn’t a day that went by that they didn’t see each other. He was a hard worker and a friend to anyone he met. He would give the shirt off his back to anybody in need. Santos was taken from us too soon, but his heart of gold will live on. He will forever be in our hearts. He is survived by his wife, the love of his life for 38 years, Carol Garcia; mother Eva Garcia; children, Tiffany Garcia (Eric Hernandez) of El Campo, Santos John Matthew Garcia of El Campo, and Amy Garcia (Chris Trevino) of El Campo; grandchildren Landon Trevino, Zachary Garcia, Madilynn Garcia, Allie Trevino, Eric Hernandez, Jr., and Kade Hernandez; siblings, Christine Garcia Torres (Robert), Arthur Garcia, Mario Garcia (Susie), Robert Garcia, Joe Garcia (Theresa), and Michael Garcia and beloved nephew, Abel Mendoza. He is preceded in death by his father, Santos John Garcia Sr. and sister, Rachel Garcia. Visitation will begin on Thursday, December 31, 2020, from 5-7PM at Triska Funeral Home. A Rosary will be held on Friday, January 1, 2021 at 1:30PM at St. Robert’s Catholic Church followed by funeral services at 2PM with Rev. Philip Brune officiating. Burial will be at Holy Cross Memorial Park. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Santos John Matthew Garcia, Abel Mendoza, Chris Trevino, Eric Hernandez, Billy Cadriel, Manuel Garcia, Christopher Torres, and Anthony Torres.
